XYZ Studios represents directors who work with design, illustration, animation, visual effects & film making to lead avant-garde commercial works from conceptual development through to final delivery.
The studios credo is that if the idea is original, then the depiction of that idea should be original too.
Consequently the studio often works with an unorthodox palette, mixing hand drawings with computer animation, vegetables with stop-motion, robotic cameras with bicycles, circus performers with papier mache, steadycam with skateboards.
Founded in 2003 by Tim Kentley, this inventive approach continues to earn XYZ international acclaim for producing distinctive work. Work that has been awarded with 7 Best of Shows, exhibited from Huesca Film Festival Barcelona to Pictoplasma New York and featured in publications including Shots, Motionographer, Stash, Boards, FX Guide, Desktop, Digital Arts UK, Campaign Brief & Australian Creative.
