Touch is designed by the company Derivative (www.derivativeinc.com) It stems for the software Houdini and has a lot of the same 3D enviromental principles. You can model, animate, keyframe, manipulate and create channels including midi and audio, create materials and particles all in real-time. A great VJ friendly feature is their use of a second monitor option that let's the user display custom animations to another source like a video projector or camera.
