Little Fluffy Clouds, founded in 1996 by English designer/producer Betsy de Fries and Dutch creative director/animator Jerry van de Beek, was named for the rave anthem by British band Orb.
De Fries is a mixed media artist whose clients have included such luminaries as James Brown, John Lee Hooker, Mavis Staple, Public Enemy, De La Sol, Paris, Hammer, Digital Underground, Exodus and American Music Club. Van de Beek was voted most promising newcomer in digital film animation by Direction Magazine.
