Cocoe is a germ. It existed long before Gabriel Suchowolski (microbians) and Jean Duprez met, even before they were born. In fact, it existed long before Leonardo was given his first box of crayons and before Heratostenes thought about playing football with the earth. It has existed since the very beginning. Many people ponder about what is art, and what is artistic or simply aesthetic. This is not so with Cocoe, for it understands all of this; it is fully aware that everything depends on itself, that, without itself, none of these terms would exist. Why did Cocoe choose Duprez y Gabriel? Or was it the other way round? What relationship does it have with food?  (cacao: in Blake’s language, cocoa) Does a relationship exist between Cocoe and the early 20th century surrealists’ liking for hot cocoa.? Let us not forget the importance of cocoa in Mayan art, and how pre-columbine designers took advantage of its stimulating effects in the creative process. In this case, was it the drink that stimulated them to create or the creative ecstasy that led them to associate Cocoe with the drink? These questions, and many others, would have to be put to the Cocoe itself, whatever it may be, if it were possible, but the reflection which we are left with is the following: are Gabriel and Duprez conscious of these facts and coincidences or, on the contrary, are they mere instruments of Cocoe? Whatever the answer may be, one thing is certain and it forms part of a conspiration: “The Cocoe Conspiration”.
