Bio
Product of Zimbabwe; Southern African country boy Chris Hoffman, used his talents as a cyclist to buy his ticket out of his poverty stricken country. In his late teens, he captained the Zimbabwe National Cycling Team, and set his sights on Europe. There, he raced his bike while based in Italy, where he fell in love with Art and Design. The tragic loss of his father and a near fatal cycling accident while out training sent Chris back home and he was forced to hang up his wheels. He decided to set off to the US, where he discovered motion design and animation while working as a Print designer. After making his way to California, he worked up to Art Director while at bi-coastal Transistor Studios' LA office, a design boutique that housed some of the worlds best motion design directors. He brought on his Zimbabwean sensibilities in design and bold use of color, quickly taking on jobs and making a name for himself with MTV, MTV Tr3s, Vh1, and ESPN. Chris currently lives and works in Venice California as Creative Director at Deva
