"Freaked" key frames

Customizing attribute curves is the process of using the After Effects graph editor to give your animation a more organic feel than the default presets (easy ease, ease in, ease out, etc.).

Some have termed this 'freaking' the keyframes, but this usage would be likely be met with guffaws, as there isn't a paid animator alive who doesn't use other kinds of ramping than 'easy ease.'
